10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Activision, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Oh Lord, here we are. Modern Warfare map pack 3-1 glorified an insult sullen, cynical gamers, a flagrant exercise pro-imperialist message. Or wait, maybe more than Infinity Ward was very bright during the past decade. Very smooth, turbo military chaos, wrapped in a naturalistic absurd plot that extends the game to the breaking point. And the multiplayer mode, with a group of friends and a couple of hours to kill, it remains one of the best fun you can have with virtual weapons and the proximity of scrimmage. Modern Warfare 3 does not make sense, it's absurd, and it was certainly the most controversial game of the year - we all understand that some people hate it. But carefully prepared to do exactly what the series has always and will always, MW3 is not part of the problem or the solution, and certainly will not destroy the industry - and even humanity. It is a game where you shoot the bad, and shoot 'em good. Frankly, we stop feeling guilty about to enjoy it.

9. Minecraft (PC)
