soup / PIPA almost pushed through this week in an exaggeration of a "study" published by the "* American Institute consumer," which argues that Americans support things like soup and by PIPA a wide margin (essentially 80%). Of course, the actual survey used suggests that there is no such thing. If true, this would not have much grass roots opposition the bills (and almost no support from the foundation).

got the answers I wanted - which is ridiculous because basically asked, key questions that the answers are obvious, instead of asking something that people are really worried. You can see the full results here, and Questions have nothing to do with what SOUP / PIPA reality. These are the three keys:

Note, first, that no part of the AIT has never really say what sanctions current penalties are

for such crimes. This right does not make sense. How can you ask someone whether sanctions should be better or worse than most of the respondents have no idea what the current sanctions. It's like asking me what "you think I should walk my dog ??more or less every day." Since you have no idea how much I walk my dog, it's about totally meaningless. You do not ask "increase / decrease" the question when people have no idea what the starting position is ... unless your intention is to deceive.


And, of course, these questions are designed to make people say "support". In fact, the only thing really surprising is that not case PIPA and are based on trying to push this bill. If SOPA PIPA and focused exclusively on the prevention of people with actual knowledge of the sale of counterfeit military and drugs, I would support the bill. Do not think that many people oppose it. The problem is that the bill passes
