Future Tense: Good Little Ideas
Someone had the bright idea of ??putting a camera on a cell phone. This was a good idea. It was a great idea. What was even better as a slot for a Micro-SD. I have a 32-gigabyte chip on my phone and storage have not yet completed. I can take pictures or movies wherever you go and e-mail immediately. I can read e-books or listen to music or watch videos. (The Samsung Galaxy has a large screen.)
The smartphone is a combination of good ideas and their overall utility should be a guide to all manufacturers of portable electronic devices.

all the tablets have slots for memory cards. Many of them do not. The Motorola Xoom has one, but it is idle waiting for a firmware update. The lack of memory expansion is one of the reasons that have not yet purchased a tablet. I want a tablet that can do everything my phone does not work, and a screen large enough to be comfortable.
Where else couldadd more memory can help? In an iPod or Zune. Microsoft has left the Zune. It's a shame. If they had given a mini-USB port instead of a custom and a slot for an SD card or Micro-SD, which would have a superior product is not just the iPod, but significantly higher may be enough to build a sustainable future for this product. The user could have multiple music libraries without having to delete old music to make room for new ones. It would have been a point of sale.
How a memory card slot on your TV so you can store pictures and videos instead of having to connect a flash drive? And maybe you could have your TV function as a digital recorder as well, which allows you to record programs for later viewing. This would not be practical?
Wherea memory card slot can be useful? What about your car stereo? Why not offer storage for your favorite music? Why should you plug your iPod into this? What do you think of the car GPS system? It would certainly be an advantage to be able to update its database of maps and the location of restaurants and hotels and gas stations as easily as popping out an old map and drag a new one.

Here's another idea
very little. Twenty years ago, I had a Casio digital watch to recharge with a small strip of solar cells mounted on the side of the screen. Why can not our current electronic equipment to do the same? Undoubtedly, more efficient solar cells are today, even cells that can generate electricity for interior lighting. Imagine your smartphone is a strip of solar cells in the back, or even in the top border of the screen. Can net charge the phone every time I went out of his pocket. Mine is on my desk every day. Usually a spare battery with me, because at the end of the day, the phone is embarrassed to have to reload. If you could trickle charge, which could be worth a couple of hours. Why not add solar panels to a Kindle or a tablet? The Kindle has a low power to attract a bunch of solar cells could be all you need to recharge. Adding solar cells to a tablet can not provide a full charge, but it could certainly increase the number of hours of use per day.
