postheadericon Scientists develop wireless braking for bicycles

Professor Holger Hermanns with his prototype wireless bicycle braking system

Since the bike speed wireless has been around for the last few years, maybe I should not be a surprise that someone has developed a mobile
braking
system. Created by computer scientists at the University of Saarland in Germany, the current prototype looks like a little square, but only with cables and brake levers. According to computer algorithms that are commonly used in air traffic control systems and chemical plants, the system must provide a reliable 99.999999999997 percent - meaning that it could fail three times a billion attempts to stop .. . Scientists continue to develop reading wireless bicycle brake
