postheadericon DailyDirt: Strange New Worlds

The universe is a big place, so it is possible to find almost anything you can imagine - if you are patient enough to explore the vastness of space. These are only a few rare planets that astronomers have recently discovered.
  • Kepler
  • 16b is the conference room for the review of astronomy. This is the brand name, not Tatooine. This is the first planet orbiting observed a binary star system. [Url] Telescope
  • Kepler was a bee. They found two planets share the same orbit. These two planets in orbit around the co, KOI-730 in the system are always 120 degrees, so do not conflict. [Url] The planet TrES-2b is so dark. What is black? Reflects less than 1 percent of incident light from its parent star, so it is darker than coal. (Sorry, no joke here.) [Url]
Apparently, there are many "free agent" floating planets in the universe without a star in orbit. Until a disaster movie, where one of these planets just headed straight for the Earth (not to mention the statistical improbability). [Url]

More links in space exploration, take a look at what is floating in the world of StumbleUpon.

effect, StumbleUpon can also recommend some elements Techdirt good too
