Last week, in writing about the decision probably stupid to interfere with the CBS affiliate covered when a new CNET DVR unit washer, all for CBS is involved in a dispute with the device on a flat similar, which was about to shout journalist Greg Sandoval by name. Sandoval is an excellent reporter who covered the case of CNET particular dish, with many copyright issues. I do not always agree with him, but I think it is a tough and fair reporter, and it seems that the decision of CBS to its objective account of doubt. Minutes before publishing the article, I pulled out the sentence contained the name of Sandoval, because I thought that it might be unfair to put in place as well, and that every employee of CNET had to make a personal decision on how to handle the situation.

As he says, he has no confidence that CBS is committed to editorial independence. In later tweets, notes that CBS has never interfered with their own information, but that the situation was unacceptable and lead others to question their own independence - especially as Sandoval reported the case of plate and other cases like.
