My E3 Wish: Sony fully supports the PS Vita
annual E3 Sony press conference starts tomorrow night, a full day before E3 2012. I expect a huge lot of advertisements in software and hardware fronts, but what I really think that for some support for its latest console, the PlayStation Vita. This is sort of a fact at this point reached in its E3 first time after system start with some announcements of key franchises, but this is Sony we're talking about. Remember that the PSP? Yes
PlayStation Vita has more potential than any other game system released in recent memory, with its powerful hardware and connectivity. But the potential is not a game system to success. Goodwill Games, however. Of course, the launch line-up was good, but what about for months after? I started to have memories of the beginning and after the drought of the PSP shortly after the charms of the throwing line dissipated. Those that still exist, unfortunately, the software support has been low since then.
And not just the games I've been worrying about Sony's pocket. We're still losing a lot of features that are likely to have at launch, and there are still plenty of untapped potential beyond them.
know I blogged a list of desires in some way will not change magically Sony's plans for tomorrow, but I wanted to get off my chest anyway. We hope you will read them and make your own noise. La Vita is very nice for a system to be scrapped in the closet, we do our best to be heardWhere are the games?
Although the launch is considered relatively strong, things were not as great since. Not bad, of course. However, the key franchises are not included. Genera keys have not been presented. Where is the support of others for Vita? Hell, where is the rest of the help of the first part of Vita?
I can see the smile on the face of the Sony rep at the moment. I was an "oh, just wait until tomorrow." Yes, I'm sure there will be ads Vita at a press conference. It
LittleBigPlanetVita , which is great, but we already knew. Probably we will have a confirmation on the PlayStation All-Stars fought as a title of Vita, with cross-platform dinner as a bonus. I bet that
Killzone
get a little love, too. Beyond this, one third of stuff like
Call of DutyAssassin's Creed
may seem like a joke, and could have a reminder on titles such as
Final Fantasy X
. Expect one of those crazy video editing exercises Sony cuts super fast images and logos of the game franchise in their eyes. But it will be like 6 songs over and over again .
Is that enough for you, the early adopters? Those alone are as big as this would be enough ... for me not to trade in my Vita yet. I need more of a commitment, especially these days where mobile / portable gaming is a lifestyle, and are downloadable games
. A $ 250 laptop and felt a little ridiculous. It even feels a little less now.
- What about backward compatibility?
- feel anger builds up inside of me whenever lack of support in the PSOne Vita crosses my mind. I'm not kidding, I clench my teeth, take a deep breath and look away with murderous intent. This is bullshit, Sony. We played with this feature since the beginning, but the game PSOne is not yet compatible. Is it not a priority for you? We have heard that it is "very soon", but I'm tired of waiting. I could have played

- today! A key point in the huge list of potential pros Vita is that you can download, play and contain all your favorite games. Maybe I'm spoiled having my Vita, PSP and PS minis games in my system now, but I can not help but think that Vita is incomplete without access to the vast library of classic PlayStation fantastic rear. These are the games that many of us happily paid for the second time, and I still enjoy it on my PS3 and PSP. Vita would be perfect on your big screen and dual analog sticks, but we still have the situation in which we move through our list of downloads to find this message is not compatible with all PSOne games.
Sony, if you do not post PSOne backward compatibility morning, I'll throw my shit Vita at the scene and then I'll put a booger on all screens of all PlayStation products in the floor of the lounge E3.
I was a little worried about the compatibility of the PSP from the beginning that not all of the library was supported initially. They seem to work on this issue, but apparently not done. Please finish.
