postheadericon New York Post Tries Hamfisted Safari Browser Block To Try To Sell More iPad Apps

Dannyb points us to the news that apparently the folks at the NY Post are still finding out how these web thing works. Since it 's still a lot more attention for things like apps was, she put together a paid app NY Post. I have no idea whether it is good, but somewhere along the line 's it seems that someone realized at the post office that people could simply bypass the app Visit the official site NYPost through the browser on the iPhone. Instead of thinking that perhaps they should be sure the app even more valuable and worthwhile for the concentrate, the genius was in a different direction and decided that access to each of the arrival at NYPost.com domain via a Safari browser on an IOS device to block. This makes people buy the app? Probably not. It may encourage them to go to competing sites, however. Even more ridiculous is that apparently no one realized at the Post that there are other browsers, you can still get on the website about alternatives like Opera and Skyfire.
